NASS 2008 Edit - Part 1
Below you can see the first rollerblading edit from our videographers at this years NASS.
NASS 2008 Results & Pictures
Big things were expected for rollerblading at this years NASS event with the likes of Aragon, Haffey, Stockwell, Chaz and Lomax skating. The crowd were not disappointed as Manchester's Fraser Watson managed to beat the world's top pros with a huge 540 transfer from the death box to wedge, big spins on the quarters and making the most of the whole course. Sam Tuffnell's death defying skating was the highlight of the weekend as he won both the Open and Amateur events, which qualified him for the Pro comp. He went on to win best trick with an unbelievable gap from the 20ft high rafters into the elvis ramp (as you can see below), showing everyone present exactly what rollerblading is about.
Sam Tuffnell winning best trick with this huge drop from the rafters.
For Ukskate's NASS 08 pictures click here and keep checking back as we'll have an edit up from the event by the end of the week.
A big thank you to Joe Coyne and everyone at Kingdom Mag for organising all the rollerblading at NASS and we look forward to doing it all again next year.
